A lot of updates

Wow - I guess I don't really have much time to blog these days!  Two kids is A LOT of work.  Like way more than I could have ever expected.  I am busy all the time, and with Liv still not sleeping through the night I'm not getting a whole lot of rest or free time these days.  The last couple of months have been full of lots of fun things - watching the kids grow together, holidays, moving into the new place.

We sold our house the first day it was on the market (YAY!) for full asking price, which left us looking for a place to live in the beginning of August.  We were able to find an apartment that was both wheelchair accessible and offered a short term lease in Renton, and we ended up living there for about 2.5 months.

We looked at quite a few houses before this one came on the market.  Ramblers are hard to come by and the Bellevue market was hot, so we'd be at a house within hours of it being listed.  Most needed quite a bit of updating and it was difficult to find a place that was mostly wheelchair accessible and didn't require a total renovation of rooms like baths and kitchen.  We were so fortunate to be the first people to see this house, and our realtor sealed the deal with a letter about us and how this place was the perfect fit.  It has been totally updated, is in a nice quiet neighborhood, and required minimal renovations to make it work for us.  My favorite thing about the place is the great room - they literally knocked down every single wall in the main living space so it's all completely open.  We are loving the space and loving being closer to J's office.  His commute is about 20 minutes now and he doesn't even get on the highway - huge improvement.

Anthony is really enjoying school and has a special friend there named Becky.  She made him an ornament for Christmas with a pic of her family on it, and she also made him a puffy paint shirt - so sweet!  Most of the students in his class are Indian and he is constantly correcting me on the pronunciation of their names.  He is taking swimming lessons right now which he absolutely loves.

Liv is fiesty as ever - she's either laughing or crying and either way there's always a lot of noise coming from her.  She is always busy and just loves Anthony.  I'm looking forward to this summer when we can get out in the back yard and they can run around together.

Our time is spent trying to keep up with the kids and their activities and still maintain some contact with friends and family!  We have been way too busy lately and I just can't wait for summer....which is still three months away!  I'm going to try to be better about updating because I like having the info to go back to when I'm making photo albums or completing baby books....we'll see how this goes!
