Fort
We had a blast while Jared was home most of the week because of the snow. He was able to work in the mornings and play all afternoon!

Thanksgiving Day with the Anardis
New Camera
Jared's generous parents gave him a new camera for his birthday this year, and you can expect to see much better pictures on this blog from now on....once I can get my hands on it, that is. Right now he is spending all of his spare time playing with the new toy.

The storm
Well we are surviving the winter storm just fine over here! Thankfully no power outages. Jared did have a lovely drive home from work last night. It took him 4 hours, 40 minutes, and he was in one minor accident (not his fault - someone else lost control of their car and hit him). What a commute.
Anthony and I are having a great time playing in the snow. Jared is working from home today, so hopefully he'll be able to join us later for the winter fun.
And here is my poor brother:
Josh works downtown as a manager at starbucks. He got off at 6, walked around for 1.5 hours trying to find a bus, finally got on one only to go three blocks in thirty minutes. So he decided to get off and walk home. The walk to his place in West Seattle is just under five miles. So my bad-ass brother basically walked around (minus the 30 minutes he was on the bus) from 6 to 10 when he finally got home. All he had were gloves and a jacket, so he wrapped his apron around his face to shield himself from the wind as he was walking over the West Seattle Bridge. Needless to say, he said it was pretty cold out and he almost gave up a few times. But it was faster than taking the bus for sure.
My mom was in town this weekend and left at just the right time yesterday morning! If she'd stayed any longer she would have been stuck over here for who knows how long. And the pass was closed on and off yesterday - she made it through somehow!

Best Friends
We went out to the canal this weekend with all of my best girlfriends from college and had a great time. I am so lucky to have found girlfriends who truly love and care about each other and aren't catty and mean. It's so rare to find a group of five girls like these ones - we are so blessed to have met each other in our freshman years!
As you can imagine, it was quite chaotic with seven kids 3 and under running around, and 9 adults.

The day we left Ellensburg for the real world....flash forward to this weekend, Ella (two years old) puked at the dinner table and Jim said "my how the parties have changed."
Isn't that the truth!

Bye Bye Buggy
I've been taking Anthony to Wordshop with me during the week and he is really having a tough time getting used to being away from me for 1.5 hours.
The kids who are crying get a ride on this while I am in service.....
Hilarious! Can you believe it?! I've never seen anything like it, but it's such a funny little vehicle. Anthony really seems to enjoy it. This week he didn't get a ride on the buggy so I guess he is getting a little better about playing in his classroom.
